Administration hours are weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The jail directs pickup contacts to wait for a Records call after signed paperwork arrives.

Use this county route for a focused written request for an existing jail booking, release, or movement record. Ask for electronic copies when practical. The county may quote a lawful fee, and the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law does not require an agency to create a new list or report.

Adult Probation handles Northumberland County probation and county-release supervision. The statewide directory also lists 570-495-2323 as an alternate number. State parole decisions belong to the Pennsylvania Parole Board, and PA DOC supervises state parolees.

The Sheriff handles warrants, courthouse security, fugitive arrests, and prisoner transport. It does not administer Northumberland County Jail bookings or releases. A transport record can show movement between agencies, but transport is not proof of community release.
